Lane Amil Bargiband passed away on August 9, 2009 in American Canyon, California at the age of 64.

Lane was born in Southern California, then moved to Clear Lake where he assisted his father in building homes.  He then moved to Napa where he graduated from Napa High School.  In 1963, Lane married his high school sweetheart, Yvonne, and they celebrated 45 years together.

Lane began his work career at Kaiser Steel, then Mare Island Naval Shipyard.  He was a heavy equipment operator for Syar Industries for 35 years and was an active member of the Operating Engineers Union, Local No. 3.

Lane served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of the Vallejo Chapter of the Harley Owners Group (HOG).  He enjoyed the outdoors, especially the ocean where he loved to fish and spend time with family and friends.

Lane is survived by his wife Yvonne, one son, one daughter, one sister, and three grandchildren.
