I have known Janet for years. Our parents were friends. My dad spent many hours down her dad's garage. They lived a little over a1/2mile from us so my mom would visit her's often. We went to different elementary schools except the time she went to Alta Heights. We would visit each other once in a while. We got know each better as the years went on. She is someone I really liked and will miss . My prayer go out to her family. RIP Janet.

It saddened me to hear of Janet's passing on a couple of levels. I had known the Campbell family for many years, actually having bought Consignment World from the elder Campbells. Friends with Al and Russ as time wore on. Janet and I knew each other all the years, but it was the last few years we came to really stay in touch. I would follow her adventures and give her a bad time about her galavanting around the world and still congratulating her. I had no idea she was so ill. I'm sure those closest to her knew. It just really caught me off guard. She was living life to the fullest. She knows no more pain. I'll miss her adventurousness.

I will miss Janet. For the past several years she has come to my Christmas and bottle rock parties. We also often enjoyed going out to lunch together. Her illness was quite a shock to me. It came so suddenly. Fornutately I had gone over to her house the day before she died and had taken her a piece of lemon merangue pie from Nations. She was tired and in bed, but totally lucid. She was getting some rest before she went down to Vallejo for a treatment. The next day her daughter notified me she had passed away. Rest in Peace Janet.

Janet was a dear friend. She and her husband participated in our wedding sixty years ago. When my husband, Jim, was in Vietnam, they opened their home, included me in social events, and Janet and I spent many evenings together while her husband worked swing shift. It was hard to be married and alone in Napa during those days and they made it so much better.
Later we lived over the fence from each other. Our children were born within months of each other, so we continued to spend much of our time together. Janet was my daughter's Godmorher. She never forgot a birthday or important event in Micol’s life.
In fact, that was one of Janet’s defining characteristics—she remembered all the important dates and events of her friends’ lives; there was always a card or a call. If someone was ill, they got soup or a casserole. She checked up after medical procedures or special events. Her memory was a blessing, her goodwill was a gift to all her friends.
Janet faced her illness with dignity and patience. She will be missed every day.
