Thomas Edward 'Tom' Bender passed away on December 14, 2015 in Napa, California at the age of 72.

Tom was a native Napan and was married to classmate Dorothy (Crandall) Bender for 51 years.  He worked for Silverado Country Club for 35 years.  Tom loved golf (as his e-mail handle suggests -- 'silvergolf5'), racing, building bird houses, working on cars, and going to the coffee shop to chat with his buddies.

Tom is survived by his wife Dorothy, two sons, one daughter, one brother, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
