sfyerbJerry and I hung out at different times in our lives. Distance created a lot of space between us but we were always connecting when our lives brought us closer geographically. Last year of high school we were together just about every day. Later in life when we were in our 30's he'd drive by my little tire shop on Springs Road in Vallejo . As he'd cruise by in his big rig he'd half lean out the window while still moving , blast his air horn and make a golf swing motion. I'd signal yes and we'd meet up after work and play till dark. These are my last outings with him as we moved to San Jose for a job I wanted. We still "talked" on FB often. He even sold me his 58 Chevy Impala Convertible when he joined the army. I visited him while he was in boot camp and he made plea for me to by this great car. I'll always remember that Cherry could FIND fun better than anyone I've ever known. I'm dirty that a guy who lived life to the fullest should have his life cut short so soon. He truly was good at anything he applied himself to. I'll miss talking to you Jerry
