Robert Earl 'Bob' Drake passed away on July 17, 2010 in Garden Valley, Idaho at the age of 66.

Bob was born in San Francisco, California on February 6, 1944.  After graduation from Napa High, Bob attended Napa Community College, then entered an apprentice program with Varian as a Machinist.  Bob's career job was as a Model Maker at Hewlett Packard, which he did for 28 years.

At Napa High, Bob was a member of Block N, and was on the Varsity Swim Team.

Bob married his high school sweetheart, Mary Clancy (Class of 1963) in October of 1964.  In 1978, the family moved to Meridian, Idaho, adjacent to Boise.  After Bob retired from HP, they moved again, this time to the mountains about an hour north of Boise, to the little town of Garden Valley (population 394).  There, they built a log home.

Bob was an avid motorcycle rider who loved to ride and to teach family members how to ride.  He was a member of the Ridge Riders Motorcycle Association and the American Motorcycle Association.  Bob also loved to camp, hunt, and hike with his family.  He especially loved to spend time with his Grandkids in their sporting and outdoor activities.

Bob is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary, two daughters, two sons, his brother Lawrence Drake (Napa High Class of 1962), another brother, three sisters, and seven grandchildren.
