Cece smile made everyone smile and feel good. I didn’t know her except for a few class but what I saw I really like. She was always nice to anyone she was with. She really brighten up a room when she came in. My prayers go out to her friends and her family.
I posted a story of the relationship between Cece and I on Facebook. I wasn't sure how to do it here but finally managed . Long story left in FB I'll shorten here. I met Cece in high school in a photography class. We were assigned in groups if 4 of which Cec and I were in to go out in Napa somewhere and get a great picture. We rambled all over on foot and couldn't decide on a great pic. Finally I convinced everyone to climb in a wall ladder to the top of a building thinking a shot from there would be something no one else would think to do. We took a picture if an interesting house across from us. Pretty good shot too. (Hey, you weren't there!) we did a lot of laughing and kidding around but I was amazed that she'd be willing to trespass and climb a building. Gained a whole new prospective of this beautiful lady.
I could her so engaging and friendly and I loved her nickname. Anytime anyone spoke the name Cece, everyone knew to whom we were referring . I was so enamored with her name that years later after not seeing her, I named by youngest daughter Serisa and her nicknayof course is Cece. When I attended my 25th class reunion I found Cece and we chatted about the years that passed and we haven't seen a lot of classmates and I told her then she had a namesake, my daughter. As we weystanding there, everyone that passed by us "Cece told everyone that passed us exuberantly "Hub's daughter is named after me" cracked me up and I told her. "Cec, if you keep that up people are going to try and remember if we ever had a relationship. She just laughed and said " who cares (laughing ). In a future reunion my son got married the same day so I couldn't go. When the wedding ended, I looked at my daughter who was all dressed up for the event, I got a crazy idea. I grabbed my daughter by the hand and said "Let's go" we left SF and headed for the Napa Elks where I introduced thevtwo Ceces to each other. My daughter said to me at the meeting "Dad, she's so beautiful!" I told hernia did the best I could. Sorry we didn't spend a lot of time together my friend but every time I look at my youngest.....I think of you
