Lewis 'Lew' Fox

Lewis 'Lew' Fox

Charles Lewis 'Lew' Fox, Jr. passed away on September 29, 2021 in Fort Collins, Colorado at the age of 77.

At Napa High, Lew was active in Key Club International.  He also attended the 20th Reunion in 1982.

After graduating, Lew attended San Jose State University where he earned his undergraduate degree; and UC Berkeley, where he earned a Masters degree in Engineering.

Lew spent 30 years as a Civil Engineer working for the U.S. Public Health Service, primarily building water and sewer systems on Indian Reservations.  Although his work took him all over the country, his heart always resided in northern New Mexico and Arizona regions.

After retiring in 1999, and while still in good health, Lew and Shirley traveled constantly to keep tabs on their family.  Lew loved model trains and baseball, was a huge fan of oldies and rock, was an avid reader, and lived for some good Hatch green chili.

Lew is survived by Shirley, his wife of almost 50-years; and his children Rob, Dave, Greg, and Melissa.  He is also survived by ten grandchildren, scattered between Fort Collins, Denver, and Albuquerque, New Mexico.  And don't forget the seven granddogs.
