Joan Virginia (O'Brien) Green passed away on February 8, 2019 in Chico, California at the age of 74.

Joan was born in the Napa Valley and lived most of her life in Napa before moving to Chico in 1989.  Her true passions in life were dancing, Lake Almanor, Disneyland; and above all else, her children and grandchildren.

Joan and her husband Philip were active boosters of the athletic programs at Vintage High School, and were also involved in the beginning of the Napa Valley Soccer League.

At Napa High School, Joan was involved in Pep Club, General Assembly, and Girls League.  She also attended Class Reunions.

Joan was proceeded in death by her husband Philip in 2002.  She is survived by one daughter, one son, five grandchildren, and two brothers.
