Virginia 'Susie' Opperman passed away on January 2, 2015 in South San Francisco, California at the age of 70.

Virginia was a native Napan, and after graduating from Napa High School, continued her education at San Francisco State University where she earned her teaching credential.  She later returned to college to earn a Masters Degree in Special Education and Administration.  Virginia spent her entire career working for the Jefferson Elementary School District in Daly City, retiring in 2001 as the Director of Special Education. 

During her life of service, Susie did volunteer work for many organizations including Mills Peninsula Health Services, Healing Store, and Broadway by the Bay.  She greatly enjoyed traveling, studying genealogy, and the ladies of her mall walking group.
