Harry James Savage is my father. He is the smartest, funniest and most thoughtful man I know. Born in Pennsylvania, he and his father and seven siblings came to California when he was 8 years old, and settled in Napa. He graduated Napa High in 1962 and moved to San Mateo, got married, and started a family. He worked for the telephone company and then bought a donut/coffee shop. He eventually moved back to Napa and then to Corning, where he spent his final years. He loved living simply—out in the country, big dogs, country music, Coca Cola, and most of all, he loved his family. He was the glue that kept us all connected and in contact with each other. He is so loved and greatly missed.

It is so nice to know he was loved so much by his family. It sounds like he had a good life up until his death.
