Carole Ann (Smith) Snow was tragically killed in a traffic accident on September 22, 1964 in the Oakland, California area at the age of 20.

Carol and her husband Val Snow were married two months ago on June 30, 1964 in Rapid City, South Dakota.  They were in the Bay Area visiting relatives when the accident occurred.  They were preparing to return to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where they first met.  Carole was entering her Junior year at BYU.
