John Spires passed away on February 25, 2017 in Napa, California at the age of 73.
After graduating from Napa High School, John worked as a baker and later as a painter. He was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and helped many struggling members to succeed in sobriety.

Sorry to hear of John's passing he was a fellow hulligan of Phil Erdman, Faye Mills, Tony Aliva! He and Faye Mills went with Phil, Tony and me to enlist in the Army of our senior year. Only Phil, Tony and me were accepted. Phil and I completed our enlistment, but Tony got out on a medical the year before his enlistment was up. We were all stationed Germany, fighting the cold, cold War.
