Donald K. 'Don' Barstad passed away on March 15, 2018 in Napa, California at the age of 73.

Don was a lifelong resident of Napa, and after graduating from Napa High in 1963, he went to work for Bergland Tractor, and later, Western Electric.

Don began his public service with the City of Napa Fire Department in 1966, becoming one of the first paramedics in the department.  After a 25-year career, he retired in 1991.

One of Don's favorite pastimes was bowling, and in the early 1980's, he turned semi-pro.  He also enjoyed the game of golf, and for a time, had a golf-related business.  Don was a member of the Masons and the Shriners.

Don is survived by his wife of 52-years, Susan, one son, one daughter, a brother, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
