I wrote Donna letter when he first got sick. Telling him he wasn’t allowed to die because what were we ordinary people supposed to do without him to look up to and admire. A great guy

Don and Cecile has always been my friend ever since Redwood Junior High. I've always wanted them as a friend. Oh I forgot I'm Joseph "Joe" Bertolucci.

Don and Cecile were those people who were gorgeous but didn't know it or act like it.  Always had a smile for everyone.  You will be missed but remembered.  Judy

So sorry to hear this news...Don was such an example of humility and warmth.  He will be missed.

I used to stop into the dealership and visit with Don once in a while.  He was always upbeat  while going through his illness.  Don passed away while we were in Georgia.  After the move it was hard to keep up witth news from Napa.  I know Don loved the Lord and for that we are both grateful.

Don was a class act!  He was always smiling and friendly.  And probably like many guys, I was just a little jealous of his good looks.  Simply speaking, "he was just good people!"  For those that don't remember, Don was one heck of an athlete.  My prayers go out to his family that they find comfort and peace.  Daryel Keith, "just a center at heart but having a great desire to play linebacker."

Hi "class of 62" I don't do social media, but now and then I look at class of 62. For me talking to people in person and not the media narative that the world has twisted our words to mean something else.. But I was happy to see the kind words about the love of my life, Don Mitchell. Don has been gone almost 13 years (Oct 7 2007) but not gone from me , my 2 sons and our 5 grandchildren. My 4 greatgrandsons will never know Don but we will always tell them about that good man and father in our life. So thank you all for remembering and God Bless..
