We initially moved away from Napa after selling flower businesses (The Looking Glass) and moved to Cameron Park to be closer to Kirkwood where we had been skiing 70 days a year.

RN Manager and assistant director of nursing at Napa State Hospital, Patients' Rights Advocate 12 years, Public Information Officer California Commission on Aging, for the California Senior Legislature, then Enforcement Coordinator, California State Department of Health Services, tasked with enforcing all citations issued against health facilities in Ca. Hated it, and returned to psychiatric nursing. After eight years, took a position in South Sacramento as the Manager of an Outpatient Electroconvulsive Convulsive Therapy unit. Loved nursing career of 50+ years.

Now into cooking, Modernist Cuisine, and baking artisan bread and pizza in our wood-fired pizza oven. Taking cooking classes along the way.

At age 67 took up electric and upright bass. Always listened to the groove of a good bass player. Played guitar since age 16, but after having thumb joint removed thought I couldn't play any more. At a Clapton concert several years back and watching his bass player laying down the groove, thought, "I can do that!" Took some lessons from a friend who used to tour with Tesla, and I was hooked. Now play when I can, and love it!

Will have to see what real retirement brings! The newest plan to avoid retirement...Will be enrolling in Culinary Academy with focus on breads and pastry, with focus on laminated doughs and puff pastry. Might just try to get into baking with MJ. Don't use it myself, but ultimately there will be a need for some quality pastries that taste wonderful as well as giving a buzz.

I spent most of my time in High School building cars....Still haven't lost that love.

After 8 Corvettes, traveled with Chumley, my Yorkshire Terrier, known as "The Road Warrior," and raced extensively modified Acura NSX from Laguna Seca to Texas, I know I am going to take at least one run at the Drag Strip again in my last Hot Rod.

After 8 Corvettes, a Porsche Turbo, a GMC Syclone, my modified NSX, a supercharged Cadillac XLR, and now a new Cadillac CTS-V supercharged Coupe with a 6 speed, boosted to 715 HP, the station wagon never crossed my mind! I hate speed now, but just love acceleration.

My year book picture somewhere said I would be in a station wagon with the biggest engine and manual transmission. Forgot about the station wagon. I now am getting ready to race 2014 Cadillac CTS-V coupe manual 6 speed with 750HP.

Shopping now for a Blue Water Sailboat 28' - 50' that I can sail solo around the world to get that 0ff my bucket list. I will be traveling with my Yorkshire Terrier, the Road Warrior, and my bass guitar and amp so I can finally have a place to practice without getting arrested for noise violation.

Didn't make it to Yale, but instead Napa College, Sonoma State, Duke University, and University of Phoenix.
