Clyde Owen

After graduation, Gary Wilson and I enlisted in the Air Force in Jun of 1962. I worked on Nuclear ICBM's for 20 years, retiring in 1982 in Tucson AZ. After retiring I moved to Searcy AR to attend Harding University. I graduated twice with a BA in Bible and Psycology. I got another degree in History and certified to teach High School. After subbing for awhile, Harding Univ hired me as the Director of Building Svs. I worked there until retiring in 2006. We moved to Frisco TX where we lived with my son and daughter-inlaw until Feb of 2020 when we moved to Evans GA to lived with my daughter and son-inlaw.

I remember there were two ways to attend Napa HS; college prep and general studies. I chose general studies. I took beginning auto shop, intermediate auto shop, print shop, mechanical drawing etc. Nearly didn't grad because I flunked english twice, and only got a D- in history. After my Air Force experience and going to college I was able to graduate cum laude in each degree. Lots of memories of Napa. I hung out with Gary Wilson, John Raymond mostly.
